Erotica Botanica Apothecary was born of a desire to make sexual wellness and herbal medicine more enticing. Officially beginning in 2014, Erotica Botanica Apothecary started as a sexual wellness practice rooted in aphrodisiac and taoist tonic herbalism to support virility, fertility, vitality and ENHANCED STATES of pleasure through a combination of sexological bodywork, somatic sexology, sex education, holistic wellness, and herbalism. But truth be told, I had already spent years fervently concocting aphrodisiac elixirs, eagerly testing them on my brave friends, curious lovers, workshop attendees and clientele.

There were many “blind” experiments along the way, like slipping heroic doses of Yohimbe into brownies or spiking mocktails with Epimedium aka Horny Goat Weed “Just to see what would happen.” Spoiler alert… they worked… sometimes, a little too well.

From play party hosts craving debauchery through offering an aphrodisiac mocktail and elixir bar, to intimacy workshop facilitators and bawdy burlesque shows, postpartum parents yearning to reclaim their sensual spark, and those navigating the tides of menopause or andropause seeking alternatives to allopathic medications. Most often, people simply sough us out heighten their intimacy, awaken their senses, and nurture their erotic wellbeing through holistic self-care. Each of our client’s stories have fueled our passion and this apothecary’s evolution.

The apothecary quickly became known for it’s seasonal delights, our aphrodisiac raw chocolates shaped like vulvas, botanically infused ghees, breast balms, pleasure salves, cordials, elixirs, fire ciders, tea blends, tinctures and of course, the cult favourite ‘Arousal Potion’. Our potent aphrodisiac-infused lubricant and replenishing intimacy oil.

After moving countries in 2020 and navigating the kerfuffle of pandemic life in Dublin, Ireland. I hunkered down to refine my life long studies in erotic wellness, sexology, and pelvic health, all the while meticulously perfecting our offerings. Now, on our 11th anniversary, I’m thrilled to announce Erotica Botanica’s reopening featuring some of our classic favourites and our new bold formulas in addition to 1:1 sexual wellness support.
